Brands at Work

After opening our doors in 2010, our original client relationships have flourished and we’ve attracted many new clients – all blue chip giants. Turnover has gone from £950,000 in Year One to over £10m eight years later.

We believe our popularity with clients is down to our attitude. We act as if we’re always in the ‘courting phase’ of the relationship, showing up with hunger, passion and commitment. But we also challenge clients. Applying our creative curiosity, we like to look at briefs and flip ‘the way it’s always been done’ on its head. It’s about making content spring to life by telling stories in different ways using unexpected formats.

Our growth has been achieved with a small core staff who’ve stayed with us – a retention rate of 100% for the last year – whilst we doubled our headcount with new hires. Part of our retention success must also be down to taking diversity and equal opportunity seriously with flexible working for parents.

The last year saw our turnover increase by 125% as we won several big tenders and new clients: Deloitte’s largest ever partner meeting, Prudential’s Regional Conference, and Domino’s Pizza Rally amongst others. These new wins are in addition to two flagship events we’ve retained for six successive years.

All of this while ‘moving house’ to our new office space in the heart of Victoria. Our team all played a part in designing and fitting out our new workspace, The Garden House, which has transformed our working life together and created a buzzing office culture.

And our future strategy? Keep attracting great talent, growing our client relationships and make sure we keep enjoying the work we do. That way, we’ll keep bringing the best of ourselves to work and the ideas will flow.
