Fuller’s Fest 2016
Fuller’s Inns annual conference has for the last 3 years been collaborated on by D3 Events and FizzPopBANG.
In 2016 we really encouraged Fuller’s to think fresh and create a business style festival primarily targeting General Managers and Head Chefs from their 400 pubs and hotels.
The brief was for Fuller’s Managers to become better leaders of their businesses by developing their capabilities in an environment significantly different to previous years but reflected the premium, warm and welcoming, inclusive and inspiring nature of the Fuller’s brand.
We chose Laverstoke Park Farm, a beautiful organic farm in rural Hampshire, as the festival venue and who are also suppliers of fresh produce to Fuller’s such as their delicious buffalo milk ice cream. 350 people were immersed into a full 24 hours festival experience including 'glamping' overnight.
The starting point was a large featureless field requiring us to build the entire festival infrastructure independently of any services and be weather independent. A total of 85 structures including a big top, giant tipi's, showers, toilets, glamour tents and a village of beautiful bell tents were used to create a genuine festival atmosphere with a spectacular and unexpected backdrop to an event never experienced by Fuller’s employees before. #FullersFest2016
