Alex arrived in the events industry after learning all about hospitality as England’s youngest landlord at The Fox Revived pub in Norwood Hill in the early 1990’s. After spells at incentive travel specialist Thomas Cook Performance Management and production company Expertease International, he decided to set up his own agency in June 2000, where he still holds the role of CEO. AOK Events has developed into one of the best known and reputable event management companies in the UK, employing nearly 30 full time members of staff at their offices in Clapham Junction. The business has three clearly defined brands: AOK Cavendish - possibly the UK’s largest official hospitality & ticket brokerage. AOK Venues – an experienced venue finding agency specialising in all types of venue finding across the UK and Europe. AOK Creative – a team of experienced creatives & event managers who plan and execute cutting edge conferences, product launches, incentive programmes, parties and every other type of live event. Alex’s role is to continue to grow the business with the recent acquisition of The Cavendish Consultancy & investment in wefindvenues proof of AOK Events' growth strategy.
