The Compass Global Leadership Conference took place at the newly opened Intercontinental Hotel, Downtown LA, in October 2018. The programme consisted of a three-day conference and exhibition; plus, three offsite evening events. It was attended by 300 people from the Compass’s global senior leadership team.
Compass has a passion for great food and service, always working on finding the freshest, most innovative ideas to keep the business moving forward. This event needed to reflect this and push the creative boundaries with an intelligent red thread.
A few highlights of what we created are:
•Communication strategy including event identity and theme - this has since been rolled out and helped to embed the refreshed strategy across the business.
•A 20 meter angular conference screen - which doubled up as a projection mapping surface, which allowed us to create different immersive environments for the presenters to use during their presentations. This became an integral part of the presentations and provided much more context along with a sense of theatre, creating memorable exciting presentations.
•18 impactful presentations with 33 presenters located around the globe; which meant this project never really slept.
•Three ‘wow’ evening events, one of which was on a working set at Universal Studios - we brought Mexican and Western street to life in just under two days. With cowboy hats at the ready, guests experienced the latest innovations from the LA dining scene, all impeccably served by the legendary Wolfgang Puck Catering team, part of Compass Group’s North American business.
