In 2018, Paragon were approached to source and manage a global team building event for Pernod Ricard UK, to be held in Manchester on a pre-confirmed September weekend.

The event needed to incentivise multi-lingual team members from all over the world to interact with other offices in an informal atmosphere, with a keen eye on the Client’s comprehensive sustainability policy, responsible drinking manifesto and company values;

Far more effective than an office-based ‘team building afternoon’ or the socially obligatory ‘drinks after work’, Paragon used a keen understanding of our client’s company values to deliver an all-inclusive football tournament weekend, designed to close the geographical and cultural gulf between countries, offices, departments and counterparts.

This concept ticked every box for our client, especially when they realised they could be the first global office to open up the competition to all-female teams…
Paragon managed all aspects of the event, including: tournament logistics, 4* accommodation, transport, venue sourcing/ hire, on-site management, communications, branding and speaker sourcing.

Over 200 guests, comprised of representatives from over 30 countries attended the weekend, with 17 teams playing for their country and their company!
A premium gala dinner, champagne reception, all-access pass to the world’s biggest football museum and full blown awards ceremony cemented this incredible global team building event, with post-event feedback surpassing Pernod Ricard’s existing 96% satisfaction rating**.
