Our creative know-how helps us deliver awe-inspiring events, and our logistics expertise guarantees professional meeting services, group travel and compliance. We run strategic meetings management (SMM) programmes with one aim in mind – to maximise return on investment.

A division of Carlson Wagonlit Travel, we have been growing our business for more than 30 years and now have 1,400 event specialists in 68 countries, including 43 with wholly owned offices. Each year we manage more than $800 million of m&e spend and organise group travel for more than a million global passengers. Over the past ten years, we have saved our SMM clients more than $730 million.

Our clients are so satisfied that in 2017 we retained all our SMM clients globally for the second year in a row and, in the UK, we retained all contracted clients for the third consecutive year.

In fact, a global pharmaceutical company appointed CWT M&E to run its annual UK conference for the tenth year in a row. The client was celebrating its 30th birthday in 2017 and was confident that with our understanding of its culture and unique requirements we would deliver an event that was bigger and better than any that had gone before.

We have seen continued growth in interest for SMM across many of our global clients, particularly from new industry sectors such as retail, technology and automotive.

For CWT, 2017 was a year of solid growth with great progress and investment in many areas of m&e including technology, innovation, people and live events.
