In its 16th year, the Datacloud Global Congress was once again a record-breaking success and confirmed its position as the leading event in the crowded datacentre market. Taking place on 4-6th June at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco, the experts and industry leaders fly from 48 countries to network, make deals and engage in the innovative content.
With just under 2000 attendees, the event relies on a core team of six staff members, supported by a wider company of thirteen in total, to use creative solutions and high attention to detail to achieve the key KPIs. The main focus of 2019's event was to increase the content offered, networking opportunities and offer creative sponsorship packages while maintaining consistent costs in an expensive operating environment.
Along with achieving the financial objectives, the key statistics for the event also include:
· 157 speakers - rising by 22% from 2018
· Number of congress theatres increasing from 2 to 3
· 38% more nominations for the Datacentre Global Awards
