Global market leader, DHL Express, appointed brand brewery to develop a worldwide series of three-day events to celebrate and educate employees upon completion of their CIM (Certified International Manager) Supervisory Program, a two-year training Program which is internationally recognised by Ofqual as an independent NVQ qualification.
DHL Express wanted to ensure first and foremost a memorable event for their Supervisors graduating from the CIM Program and for them to be suitably recognised and celebrated. They also wanted to empower them with the tools and skills to go back to the business, ready to inspire the next generation of leaders.
Commencing in January 2018, the ongoing series of events forms part of the final training module to congratulate DHL employees as they graduate from the program. The aim is to create a consistent experience for all graduating employees, regardless of where they are globally. To ensure consistency, we have created and built a bespoke environment and blue-printed the event, so it can be seamlessly recreated and delivered anywhere in the world.
Ongoing management of events includes the program budget, sourcing locations and venues, registration and communication with the delegates, coordinating all on-site logistics and employee sessions across the three-day series of events.
Hosted by senior DHL board members, the events align with DHL Express’ strategic pillars and specifically the pillar of ‘Motivating People. The event series celebrates the employees’ personal journey to achieve this qualification and allow them to reflect on their training experience and what they have learnt. The events include final training sessions, CSR activities, well-being sessions, gala and networking dinners and finally the graduation ceremony.
Between 2018 and 2020, the CIM event series will see over 5,770 graduates from over 150 countries educated and inspired. The experience has also been translated into 23 languages.
