The One Young World Summit 2015, Bangkok brought together young leaders from 196 countries to debate solutions to the world’s greatest challenges.

In the presence of global luminaries such as Sir Bob Geldolf and Kofi Annan, young ambassadors voiced their opinions and debated the future of their world.

For GPJ, a summit in one of the world’s busiest cities brought its own challenges.

As well as organising visa’s for over 1,500 delegates, managing 40-50 VVIP’s - including Presidents, Nobel Laureates and celebrities – One Young World had to secure their right to free speech. In a city recently hit by terror, transport and security were also an issue. And logistical challenges associated with televising and streaming a 4-day conference also had to be dealt with.

We created a forum that helped the Ambassadors of tomorrow instigate change.

We brought the proposition ‘What will you do? #OYW’ to life.

GPJ were able to apply this message across all areas - both physically and digitally – from Registration and Production of over 25 hours of general sessions and 50 breakouts to 5 evening events and signage all across the city of Bangkok.

OYW Bangkok 2015 was a global success. It was broadcast live on Thai TV and streamed all over the world - attracting over 125,000 twitter followers, 3 million YouTube views and the attention of over 200 media outlets with over 1000 items of valuable coverage.

As a result, GPJ were awarded the 2016 Ottawa Summit and two new Expert Events. We’re proud to be partnering with One Young World, helping future leaders change lives and the world. But it’s a challenge that has only just begun.
