A Kia Masterclass event is an institution in Kia’s automotive training programme, each playing a pivotal role in shaping the launch of the newest vehicles through innovative training to staff within dealerships. The main focus of this event was the All-New Kia Ceed. There was also one more focus area that could have a dramatic effect on sales performance and customer satisfaction - an attempt to improve Test-Drive performance within the Dealer Network. Customer Test-Drive numbers and satisfaction levels were at a worryingly low level and it was felt that this event could re-invigorate the Dealer Network to improve their performance in both areas. 700 Customer facing Sales and Service Staff would be invited over six separate event days in July 2018 to one central venue.
Following previously successful Kia Masterclass Events, Motiv8 were again selected to run this event but there was a requirement for a different feel and theme to previous events in order to create maximum impact on the dealer network.
At Motiv8 we are fully aware that these launch events play a vital part in influencing the success of new products. An innovative and different launch training day in a unique location, would be the perfect platform to enthuse and motivate delegates who could then enthuse customers.
It was made clear by the client that Motiv8 should not “Pull Their Punches” when it came to putting those that attended “Through their Paces” and to challenge them in stretching their skills and knowledge. This event had to be different to any automotive training event before it.
Therefore, we embarked on one of the most creative events we had ever put together - it was time to take delegates on a “Tour of Duty”.
