Lime Venue Portfolio’s (LVP) financial year runs October – September, and the 2017/18 year has been a record breaking one for the MICE central sales team. This performance is especially profound as it comes as the brand celebrates its 10th Anniversary, since its inception in 2008. This year, the team have already exceeded their financial target for the financial year, confirming a 14% rise on sales revenue, still some three months out. They are now working on a stretch target that will give them the largest ever turnover; that is why 2018 has become at 10 out of 10 year for the team.

This performance underlines a heritage of double digit growth for the group, and the massive contribution that unique venues bring to the wider meetings and events industry.

Over the last 10 years, Lime Venue Portfolio has led this growth and enabled unique venues to evolve as a credible part of the venue landscape offering either equal or better service and product standards than that of conventional venues. It is because of Lime Venue Portfolio that agencies such as Capita and Calder, or corporates such as EY and HSBC, have multiple venue deals across unique venues. Equally, it is due to the quality of the sales teams that venues such Edgbaston Stadium or the Imperial War Museum (North) are able to host these clients and offer them the standards they require for their MICE programmes.
