Principal. Global Events was established in 1994. 2019 marks 25 exceptional years, delivering award winning MICE services to our clients, some of whom we’ve been working with for almost 20 years.
From our start with four staff, we now boast a talented team of 22. We are proud of our excellent staff retention rate and nurture our team to achieve internal promotions and industry recognition. The stability of our team is invaluable to the exceptional service we offer our clients, and key to the principles of our philosophy: Partnership, Collaboration and Teamwork.
All our top 10 clients were retained in 2018 and, with their support, we were awarded our 11th M&IT Award for Best Intermediary Agency in March 2019. With an increase in turnover from £6.5 million in 2017 to £10 million in 2018, we are on target to further increase turnover to £14 million in 2019. Our investment in specific industry sectors was a strategic approach resulting in 16 major new client wins from competitive pitches, and we delivered our most innovative and immersive event concepts to date. We’re excited about the future; we’re increasing investment in Sales & Marketing to drive further growth and the business is structured so we’re able to grow quickly. Looking after our people will be top of our list, we’ll develop their talent and support them to achieve a work life balance.
