RBS In-House Events Team



The RBS Group in-house events team works out of London and Edinburgh and is made up of 8 passionate event professionals.
3 years ago, the team was formed in its current structure and has become well respected and established. Collectively we have around 140 years of industry experience combining backgrounds in agency; supplier; corporate; sponsorship; in-house and exhibitions.

We have proven across the RBS Group that we add value to events. We have been acknowledged for high performance both through internal recognition and industry events and awards; for our pace; doing the right thing and regularly smashing it out of the park!

Led by Peter Short we produce a wide range and style of events across all RBS Group brands, delivering key communications and business outcomes for colleagues and customers. To achieve this we work in alignment with our colleagues throughout Communications and Marketing, as well as procurement approved suppliers.
The Events team produce a wide range and style of flagship events across all brands, ranging from internal & external conferences & meetings, financial exhibitions, town halls, gala dinners and awards ceremonies.

We always help stakeholders clarify their brief and objectives and knowledgeably advise them on how to achieve their goals. For us, the most important thing is to ensure the stakeholder has the right level of support and resource to make their event a success and give the audience the best experience possible. We provide consultancy to colleagues when full event management support isn’t possible.

Understanding that each business, each client and every budget is unique means an appropriately tailored proposition and approach every time.
