The Ford Live brand was introduced by Motiv8 in conjunction with Ford of Britain’s training arm, The Henry Ford Academy in 2016.

Designed to inspire and educate its customer facing dealer staff about the latest Ford product launches in an interactive and exciting way, the formula has proved to be highly successful leading to excellent delegate engagement and knowledge retention.

For 2019, with no mainstream product being launched, the event focus was on Ford’s latest Technical features at the Millbrook Proving Ground at “Tech Ford Live”.

The event looked at key forms of technology including safety, connectivity, mobility as well as Ford’s electrification strategy, including new product lines.

1700 Ford dealer staff over seven days learned about and experienced this technology “Hands on” in a series of driving and experiential activities, led by the Motiv8 event team supported by Henry Ford Academy support staff and some of their training team.

The day centred around an arena experience with the largest set and screen ever seen at a Ford event with high energy opening, half-time and closing shows.

Both individual and group learning were a key focus and the day included an ongoing team challenge where points were earned and recorded using interactive handsets.

Using media such as “Escape Room” type activities, to gameshow sets, to off road and racetrack type experiences the day was jam packed full of excitement and education for everyone.

Three new model lines were experienced by delegates: Focus ST, Mustang Bullitt and the Ranger Raptor.

The day culminated in a team trophy ceremony on stage and a reveal of a never seen before new Ford model – The All New Kuga.

One delegate remarked: “I’ve been coming to Ford events for 29 years and this was undoubtedly the best one ever!”
