Zing Events helps Spotify ‘Escape’ boundaries
Spotify is a successful global streaming service who have been running for over ten years.
The client’s brief was clear. They wanted a high energy team build, that focused on collaboration, team work and was inclusive to all.
Zing spent a lot of time understanding the client’s needs especially around the sustainability and charity focus on the whole conference, whilst honing in on the all-important Company values.
Zing developed the Escape the box conference around the 192 guests. The activity would see 20 teams competitively battle to Escape the box, yet work together collaboratively as the event developed. Inspired by the Escape Room phenomenon, Zing’s Escape The Box challenge required teams to work through the myriad of clues in order to ‘unlock’ the box and stop a cyber-attack.
The client wanted the activity to incorporate the Spotify Values, whilst encouraging the group to get to know their colleagues and engage with the wider team from different offices around the globe.
The Zing team worked together with Spotify to write bespoke content and create engaging task that would incorporate the objectives and the conference and link in with their personality, values and vision.
On the day itself, the guests were split in to teams and got really stuck in to the activity and worked well together in teams to crack the codes and work out the finale anagram. The winning team donated £5000 to the Roundhouse charity and the whole day was a roaring success.
Spotify were exceptionally happy with the outcome of the day.
