In 2021, we rebranded NYS as Agiito. This meant a new, unique identity, and marked the start of a bespoke ‘designed around you’ service solution, enabling us to build powerful customer partnerships, resulting in even more memorable events. Despite an incredibly challenging 2020, we still managed over 200 fantastic events, built a virtual offering from scratch, and secured a quarter of our TTV through our new virtual solution, while strengthening our customers and supplier relationships. This all resulted in some resounding successes. For example, in the first fortnight of December alone we delivered 47 hybrid events to over 4,000 delegates and sent 700 pre-event gifts – that’s no mean feat for a small team! Throughout the pandemic, our entire team has shown sheer dedication and creativity, to both their events and their budgets. With a reduced workforce, we also brought teamwork to the fore and showcased our resilience in every way possible. This was recognised internally by Capita Plc., who awarded our virtual event solution for its creativity and innovation. Externally, our individual team members have also been recognised on both the C&IT A-List and CN 30under30. Our biggest achievement, however, must be how we pivoted, from managing very few outsourced, virtual events at the start of 2020, to running end-to-end virtual events entirely in-house, in as little as six weeks! By utilising our networks, upskilling staff and reacting quickly, we turned-around a completely new solution for a virtual conference and awards ceremony for 450 delegates. This event then became a part of a series of events, which won us, in partnership with our pharmaceutical customer ‘Best Employee Engagement Initiative During Lockdown’ at the PM Society Digital Awards, showcasing just how great our team have become at connecting and engaging attendees virtually.
