AsiaWorld-Expo, Hong Kong

AsiaWorld-Expo (AWE) is redefining the role of a convention centre by evolving beyond venue provision to become a strategic event platform that helps organisers create impactful experiences, unlock new markets and strengthen destination appeal.

As Asia’s leading venue, AWE offers over 70,000 sqm of rentable event space and a proven track record of hosting mega-scale conferences, exhibitions and live events for up to 20,000 delegates. Located adjacent to Hong Kong International Airport, AWE provides unparalleled global accessibility, efficient freight handling and reliable event delivery, making it the preferred choice for complex international events.

AWE’s unique position within the airport ecosystem has enabled it to attract Asia-first industry launches including Super Terminal Expo, Airspace Asia Pacific and Data Centre Asia, creating new opportunities for organisers seeking access to Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area.

In 2025, AWE demonstrated its leadership through two standout events. As the venue host of the 92nd UFI Global Congress, AWE introduced an innovative “Inside-Out Experience Architecture”, transforming over 600 global industry leaders into engaged advocates through a blend of business content, cultural immersion and destination experiences. The success of the Congress contributed to major future event wins including ANOC General Assembly 2026 and LIONS International Convention 2026. AWE also pioneered “EXPOtainment” concept through the Longines Hong Kong International Horse Show, seamlessly integrating elite sport, premium exhibitions, hospitality and entertainment. The event transformed 34,000 sqm of venue space into Hong Kong’s first international showjumping arena, showcasing AWE’s exceptional operational and technical capabilities.

Complementing its event leadership, AWE has invested over HK$1 billion in facility upgrades and became Asia-Pacific’s first venue to achieve A Greener Future certification. Looking ahead, its Phase 2 expansion will increase exhibition capacity to 100,000 sqm and deliver Hong Kong’s largest indoor arena, further strengthening the city’s position as a world-class MICE destination.
