L’Oréal Brandstorm 2024 marked a turning point for the company’s global innovation competition. Powered by Meet Events, the event delivered an immersive, high-energy experience that brought together 43 finalist teams from across the world in London – the first time in Brandstorm’s 33-year history that the final was held outside Paris.With just five months to plan and execute, we overcame tight deadlines, budget constraints and venue challenges to create a seamless, tech-driven spectacle. Our solutions pushed the boundaries of live event experiences, incorporating a custom-built event app with real-time multilingual updates, 43 digital pitching booths equipped with silent disco technology and a first-of-its-kind interactive treasure hunt that transformed L’Oréal’s HQ into a dynamic brand immersion.
The competition culminated in a high-stakes finale at Riverside Studios, featuring a mirrored stage, LED displays and broadcast-quality production. Attendees described it as “the best final yet”, with 98% giving it a five-star rating. Applications surged by 47% to a record-breaking 135,000, cementing Brandstorm’s reputation as the world’s leading beauty-tech innovation challenge.
