Reset. Refocus. Rise. – Reconnecting a Global Workforce Through One Integrated Event Experience

In March 2026, Colt Technology Services brought together 950 employees in Tarragona, Spain, while simultaneously connecting a further 5,000 colleagues worldwide through a live global broadcast. At a pivotal moment for the business, following a period of significant organisational change , Colt needed to reconnect its people, align teams behind a renewed vision and create momentum for the year ahead.

The result was *Reset. Refocus. Rise.* – an ambitious four-in-one event experience that combined Colt Connect (company-wide kick-off), Sales Connect (global sales kick-off), the Coltie Awards incentive programme and a large-scale CSR initiative into one seamless platform.

Delivered within just six months from brief to execution by Goose Live Events and JT Productions, the event required the team to secure a venue for 950 delegates, work alongside a newly formed internal team and travel partner, and deliver four distinct event experiences without compromising the objectives of any audience.

Taking exclusive use of PortAventura Convention Centre and two onsite hotels, the destination was transformed into a fully immersive environment. Through leadership engagement, compelling content, shared experiences, recognition, networking and a large-scale CSR programme, employees reconnected with the organisation, its strategy, its values and each other.

The CSR initiative saw attendees build and donate 742 items to eight local charities. Engagement remained exceptionally high, with 91% of attendees actively using the event app and 95% rating the event 4 or 5 out of 5.

The impact was transformational. Employees described it as “the best SKO ever”, while long-serving team members called it the best event they had attended in more than two decades with Colt. The event owner described it as Colt’s “BEST Kick Off ever”
