Beijing and The Great Wall of China
An Unforgettable Journey: The Ultimate Global Gathering
After seven years apart, 110 employees from a leading global investment firm finally reunited for the company’s first global offsite since 2017; an experience that would become far more than just a reward.
With anticipation high, the destination had to surprise and inspire; Beijing delivered beyond expectation.
Over five days, guests were immersed in a carefully curated journey of culture, connection, and discovery. From lantern-lit dinners in ancient courtyards to tai chi in temple gardens, the program offered a chance not just to see the culture, but to live it. Guests explored the Forbidden City, wandered through hidden Hutongs, and dined atop the Great Wall. Each moment was intentionally designed to spark curiosity and foster connection.
Behind the scenes, the challenges of delivering a seamless experience in China were significant. With limited English-language infrastructure, restricted access to global apps, and fast-changing local logistics, the team had to think differently. Adapting to local platforms, translating everything from menus to tech access, and ensuring inclusive options for all guests took careful planning and creative problem-solving.
With 98% attendance and 100% sign-up for optional activities, engagement was unprecedented. The event struck a balance between high-impact moments and quiet cultural immersion, where 110 guests from around the globe left with shared memories and deeper bonds.
In a world where incentives can feel polished but impersonal, this experience stood apart for its authenticity. It wasn’t about extravagance; it was about meaningful moments. The itinerary invited guests to slow down, connect, and engage with each other and the culture in ways that felt real. From shared adventures to quiet reflections on the Great Wall, it reminded everyone why coming together matters and how powerful it can be when purpose, place, and people align.
