Finally, following two turbulent years of operation throughout COVID-19, the Group was ready for its senior key workers - Store Managers from Iceland and The Food Warehouse - to connect in-person, reflect, celebrate, and prepare for their all-important Christmas trading period. We, Cascade Productions, worked alongside the Group to create a Store Manager’s conference that provided all the above and, in turn, would be the largest retail event contracted at the ACC Liverpool since the pandemic began. We produced a full day and night of content – from presenter scripts to video content, presentation design to evening entertainment - covering the key initiatives and messages Store Manager’s needed. Not just to thank them for what they’d done – as we made loud and clear in our ‘Heroes’ theme - but to excite them for what was next. Our team worked tirelessly to maximise the budget, optimise the content, and minimise the risk of COVID-19, and it shows. Feedback revealed Store Manager’s found being in-person with colleagues and leaders inspirational, and the opportunity to build those relationships invaluable. They felt messages were clear and their delivery entertaining and engaging. Most importantly they left feeling united, informed, and excited for the Christmas period. What’s more, we reported no positive tests throughout the event, much to ours and our client’s delight. Iceland Foods Group Store Manager’s Conference 2021 was a much-needed, much-welcomed return to normality. Not just for the retailer, but for ourselves and our industry at large.
