Strive

Client: Utility Warehouse

Coventry Building Society Arena

Strive proactively pitched IGNITE: a bold, stadium-scale experience unlike anything Utility Warehouse (UW) partners had seen before. The client loved the vision and in September 2024, 4,300 UW partners came together for IGNITE.

IGNITE marked a major milestone, 1 million customers, while recognising key partners and inspiring for the future. To stand out, Strive pushed boundaries with a full stadium takeover at Coventry Building Society Arena, turning it into a high energy, match-day-inspired event. Every space was activated, and CBS Arena said, “IGNITE redefined what the venue is capable of achieving.” The experience featured live music, surprise entertainment, half-time shows, and 500+ on-stage recognitions. Highlights included a Champions Brunch for 1,000 VIPs and headline speakers like Katie Piper OBE and Sir Geoff Hurst.

Accessibility was a priority, with 8% of attendees requiring extra support. Feedback included heart-warming quotes, such as: “Richard Lewis has complex needs as a pompe sufferer. A life limiting condition. Today, his life felt very full.”

Sustainability efforts included sending zero waste to landfill - all materials were recycled, composted, or reused - and donating 60 crates of food and toiletries to the local community.

Delivered by Strive’s small but mighty team, IGNITE was described as UW’s “most outstanding event”.
