Broadsword has worked as an event partner on M&G Investments’ Annual Investment Forum for the last six years, every year working in collaboration with the marketing team to further the brand’s positioning as a global asset manager.​​ 270 investment clients are invited to The Londoner hotel to explore investment insights that set the scene for the year ahead. Across the two days of the conference, delegates can expect plenary sessions designed to be bold on topics from Donald Trump’s return to the White House to where AI could land in 2025 along with three different breakout agendas.

Attendees were immersed in the Intelligence Connected brand identity (and its sub tagline, Connecting The Dots).

Within the main agenda, experts discussed trending themes and topics with the goal to connect the dots on the challenges facing investors against the backdrop of an ever-changing investment landscape. ​​Set design incorporated a kinetic lighting installation forming a dynamic centrepiece and physical manifestation of ‘Connecting The Dots’ that fused movement, light, and sound. The 90 spherical lights were individually programmed to respond in real time to a carefully curated soundtrack and in sync with a motion graphics LED display. This combined with an impactful opening video set the scene for the two days of content ending in a gala dinner.​

Engagement with the brand was high across interactive touch points to integrate marketing campaigns into the offline environment. ​The pop-up Ampersand café created in the foyer allowed attendees to refresh and grab a digital or glossy print copy of M&G’s popular thought leadership magazine. Attendees could also grab branded snacks including dispensable M&Ms and use a vending machine for Tony's Chocolonely bars that promoted the firm’s new innovative podcast ‘Dream Machine’.
