In 2025, pladis stood at a pivotal moment. With six consecutive years as the fastest-growing snacking company globally, the business faced forward with fresh urgency and renewed focus on growth, innovation, and sustainability. It wasn’t just time to share a new plan. It was time to Rewrite the Stars.Designed as an intimate, story-led retreat for eighty senior leaders, the event aligned ambition with action. Hosted at the Four Seasons in Hampshire, the three-day experience fused strategy and storytelling, bold creativity, and emotional resonance. Every detail from cosmic branding and AI-generated avatars to a children’s perspective on pladis’ sustainability, was crafted to humanise the business agenda and provoke meaningful conversation.
Working closely with pladis, mcm shaped a programme built on four pillars: create collective ambition, make the future tangible, foster real connection, and drive post-event action. Content looked both inward and ahead, featuring immersive experience design, including event environment, residential settings, and a striking LED wall to bring content to life, turning the plenary into a space for dialogue, not passive download.
New formats encouraged two-way engagement, from live polls to playful team competitions, including a headline scavenger hunt and a fast-paced charity auction. Powerful moments of perspective from external keynote speakers added emotional weight and purpose.
The impact was clear: Rewrite the Stars became the highest-rated leadership event in pladis’ history, with feedback scores reaching 9.1 (up from 8.7 in 2023) and engagement soaring to 76% (up from 52%). But the legacy runs deeper. It reset expectations. It deepened connection. And it became the launchpad for a new era of global leadership engagement, one built on clarity, courage, and community.
