As an ambitious and fast growing, emerging leader in the tech space Softcat’s Kick Off in 2024 was a pivotal moment in their events calendar. Yellow Fish were awarded the work to deliver in a new venue (NEC Birmingham) and bring to life every element of the event including an expo with over 70 stands, an awards dinner, plenary, breakouts and of course the after party all with the goal of uniting, celebrating and motivating over 2100 employees from across the globe.

The project was a true symbol of collaboration with Softcat and Yellow Fish marketing and events teams working closely together across every element of the event. Clear direction, communication and pro-active thinking was essential throughout the project. This was a new venue, new client-agency relationship and a business that innovates and grows at speed and pace. The result was crowned by Softcatters as ‘the best kick off they have ever attended’ and over delivered on agency and business KPIs. Yellow Fish and Softcat’s relationship has grown and developed post this event and we are excited to be back at the NEC again in 2025 with even more Softcat employees.
