UKISUG Connect has cemented its reputation as the UK & Ireland’s leading independent SAP conference, bringing together over 1,130 attendees from across the SAP ecosystem—including customers, partners, and SAP leadership—for three days of strategic insight, technical education, and community collaboration. Organised by the UK & Ireland SAP User Group, the event balances celebration with challenge, offering a platform for feedback and accountability that drives real influence with SAP at a global level.

The 2024 event aimed to empower users across every phase of their SAP journey. Key objectives included enhancing skills development, encouraging innovation through partner engagement, strengthening networking and community bonds, and reducing environmental impact. The brief evolved to reflect a deeper focus on carbon footprint reduction, youth engagement through the Future Talent Programme, and an expanded global presence, including a TECHx TechEd-on-Tour feature.

Over 150 sessions were delivered across 16 content streams, alongside high-profile keynotes from SAP and customer leaders. The event featured 80+ exhibitors, an Executive Roundtable for candid dialogue with SAP, and dedicated wellness and accessibility initiatives. Innovations like live polling, app gamification, and interactive content enabled deep engagement. Notably, 98% of attendees downloaded the app and 96% found it beneficial.

UKISUG Connect’s legacy extends well beyond the event itself—driving post-event knowledge sharing, launching the S/4HANA Academy, and contributing to charitable causes like Cancer Research UK.
