Veolia Spark 2025

Live Union

Client: Veolia

Magazine London

Spark 2025 was built for a business in motion. Veolia needed to bring its people together around change: to land important strategic messages, create pride in the business and help an invited internal audience feel part of what comes next. The risk was predictability. A day of heavy content could easily have felt like another leadership conference. Instead, Live Union turned Spark into a live television-inspired experience, using the pace, familiarity and energy of broadcast to make internal communication feel more immediate and human.

The idea was Tuned into Change. Magazine London became the studio. Guests arrived through a glowing “ON AIR” tunnel before entering a media-themed environment anchored by a large-scale Media Tower. More than a scenic focal point, the tower became the storytelling engine of the day: a place where business functions were made visible, audience voices were captured and employees could see themselves within Veolia’s wider story.

Across the programme, strategic content was reframed through formats people instinctively understand. Presenter-led updates gave the morning pace and clarity. Spark Tank turned innovation into a live pitch competition, with leaders pitching against the clock and the audience voting for the winning idea. Green Up with Gavin brought a more relaxed, talk-show rhythm to leadership content. Audience questions were filmed, edited and played back the same day, carrying employee voice from the networking floor into the heart of the programme.

Spark 2025 did not just borrow the look of television. It borrowed its behaviour: pace, participation, anticipation and audience energy. The result was an internal event that gave Veolia’s people more than a seat in the room. It gave them a visible role in the story of where the business is going next.
