Visa Payment Forum CEMEA 2025

Imagination

Client: Visa

Hotel Arts Barcelona, Spain

Visa Payments Forum CEMEA 2025 set a new benchmark for what a B2B conference in financial services can achieve by blending strategic insight, creative innovation and measurable impact to deliver an experience that resonated long after attendees left.

Hosted at Hotel Arts Barcelona across two and a half days in June 2025, the forum brought together more than 700 clients from nearly 90 markets. The challenge was not simply to host a successful event for such a diverse audience, but to fundamentally reimagine the conference format, moving Visa's client relationships from broadcast to collaborative.

Imagination grounded every creative decision in data. Research revealed that 58.3% of the target audience actively wanted to contribute ideas to the brands they worked with, yet only 10% had ever been given the opportunity. VPF CEMEA 2025 was built to close that gap.

The result was a multi-dimensional experience anchored by the VPF Marketplace: a central experiential space that fused Catalonian culture with Visa's technological vision, bringing abstract payment concepts to life through gamified storytelling, virtual reality and live Visa Pay demonstrations. More than 20 product innovations were revealed across AI, stablecoin integration, and digital commerce - all announced live to the clients best placed to champion them. A headline conversation between football legend Didier Drogba and Visa CMO Frank Cooper III brought cultural depth to a technically ambitious agenda.

The numbers speak clearly. Client satisfaction reached 96%, with a 4.79 out of 5 satisfaction score. An overwhelming 97% of attendees said they would return and recommend the forum to peers. Client feedback delivered a perfect NPS of 10. Online engagement surged by 128.2% compared to the previous year, all of which was driven entirely by organic attendee advocacy.

VPF CEMEA 2025 didn't just meet its objectives. It redefined them.
