Jodie Phillips

Jodie has spent the last 8 years in the events industry specialising in medical, healthcare and pharmaceutical events. Jodie started her medical events role at the Royal Society of Medicine as an event coordinator and quickly worked her way up to Assistant Team Manager overseeing their in house PCO service, RSM Professionals. Jodie worked with the team to build a portfolio of events which ran outside of the RSM's main educational programme with joint partners, or on behalf of clients as their PCO. Jodie then went on to the National Institute of Cancer Research to manage their annual congress. This event saw over 1500 delegates, 600 abstracts, 70 trade stands and 160 speakers. For the 2019 event, Jodie won an ABPCO excellence award. Currently the Event Manager at the Royal College of Anaesthetists, Jodie oversees a team of 6 who run approximately 65 events per annum. In the last year, as many organisations have had to, Jodie has worked with the team to convert their face-to-face event programme to an online virtual offering.
